“After a whirlwind week I wanted to drop you a note to say a massive THANK YOU for the beautiful make up you did for me and my bridesmaids last Saturday. It was so lovely having you be a part of the morning getting ready and you did such an amazing job with all of our make up. My bridesmaids all looked so like themselves but an even more beautiful version which I thought was so impressive without a trial and without you having seen them in their normal make up, and I felt amazing in my make up all day, despite spending many hours on the dance floor! “I don't normally write reviews but I feel compelled to let other brides know about Harriet's skills. If you are like me and have no clue about makeup, you want Harriet to hook you up. Within 5 minutes of our trial, I knew she was going to work some magic. She listens to what you want (she managed to understand my really nondescript ideas about makeup) and I was so happy with the look we decided upon. The fact that several of my Father's old cronies commented on my makeup specifically, noting how good it was, is a real testament to her skill and talent. Couldn't recommend Harriet enough! I remember when we met for my trial at the start of this year, I knew instantly that you would be great. You were calm, listened and were clearly so talented at what you do. “I could not recommend Harriet enough. She is amazing. Harriet did the make up the night before my wedding for myself and my mother and then on the day for the two of us plus my bridesmaids. Everyone loved the make up which lasted amazingly all day and looked great in photos. As well as her fabulous make up Harriet is just so lovely, she bends over backwards to accommodate everything you want and is just so warm and friendly.
We all felt like we had another friend in the room with us when getting ready.

She was so friendly and welcoming from the moment we met during my makeup trial and immediately put me at ease. None of us wear a lot of makeup normally and Harriet understood entirely that we needed to feel comfortable in our makeup looks, whilst looking suitably special for the wedding day. We all felt totally ourselves, but on the very best of days. “Literally I’m struggling to even know where to start with this review! I cannot rave about Harriet Franklin enough! I was lucky enough to find her when I was looking for a MUA for my friends wedding – she was then based in oxford (where the wedding was). I was a bridesmaid and both myself and the bride were absolutely delighted with our makeup for her big day – it was flawless, lasted the whole day and evening and Harriet was a joy to have around on the day. Fast forward to my wedding In Sussex – I was desperately looking for someone near London – I always kept thinking about Harriet so when I checked her website and saw she’d moved to London I was thrilled! I immediately booked her and the whole process was seamless. She is a total professional, offering advice and help at every step. On the wedding day it’s almost like having a friend just hanging out with you, it’s so relaxed and I trusted she would make me look incredible – and she did! It’s hard to imagine how your makeup can look so utterly perfect (and I know makeup and wear it a lot) My bridesmaids and I and even my mother had so many compliments on our makeup, everyone saying we all looked stunning – this was all down to Harriet! “This lovely lady did mine and my four bridesmaid’s makeup for my wedding in September. I cannot rate her high enough, I was dubious about having my make up done professionally as I had previously had a trial with another make up artist and I wasn’t impressed with the results. Harriet listened to me during my trial and made sure that I was completely happy. On the day she made me look amazing, the make up looked great for the whole day/evening. My bridesmaids were so happy with their results and everyone commented how beautiful they looked.

"Harriet Franklin is an extremely talented artist and the best thing of all is I’m very lucky to have her as a best friend. Harriet did my bridal make up on my wedding day after many years of doing my make up and the end result on my wedding day, well I was just so happy it brought me to tears. Thank goodness for the waterproof mascara! There was no one else I would ever have chosen to do my make up.
Honestly I can not recommend this girl highly enough for all your events and if you're the bride then please do not look any further! Her organisation, eye for detail and her advice on what she thinks will work for you and your vision, is exactly the reason why she is so amazing at what she does.
Her make up collection is beautiful and her beautiful presentation makes you feel like you're an A-Lister from start to finish.
But the most important thing with Harriet and how she works with you is that on the most stressful day of your life she is the most incredible support system, friend or not, she champions you to get through all the stresses of the day and for that I am eternally grateful.

“The lovely Harriet did both mine and my bridesmaid’s makeup for my wedding back in May this year. I was initially unsure about whether to do my own makeup, or have it done professionally, and so I booked a trial with Harriet a good few months beforehand. I was so impressed with the results, and knew that on the day I could really do without the stress and worry of getting it right myself, so I went ahead and booked her; I’m so pleased I did! Harriet really took the time to listen to what sort of look I wanted, and was patient whilst I went through a good few choices of lip colours!
